Loon's Echo Wilderness Retreat

Mallard is a self-contained log cabin complete with its own modern kitchen, bathroom, porch and fireplace. Mallard contains a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed in addition to a small loft for sleeping. Although this land is very rugged, Mallard was designed for wheel-chair accessibility. It is closest to parking but still has its privacy and beautiful views of the north woods.

Lakeview is our most secluded cabin, but closest to the water. It is about a100 yard walk to this cabin from where you park your car. In this 2-room cabin you will find a cozy living room with large windows facing the lake...wood floors, braided rugs and a rock fireplace that can be seen from both the living room and the bedroom. It is equipped with an indoor toilet and electricity (with small refrigerator, coffee pot, CD player and microwave). Your kitchen and shower facilites are located in TIMBERWOLF. Timberwolf is an additional cabin included with your rental of Lakeview.

Pinecone is a small, cozy, one-room log cabin located on a rocky ridge overlooking the lake. It is surrounded by tall pines and is totally secluded. Pinecone has wooden floors, braided rugs and a beautiful hand-crafted log bed next to the rock fireplace. The cabin is equipped with an indoor toilet and electricity (with small refrigerator, coffee pot, CD player and microwave). Your kitchen and shower facilites are located in TIMBERWOLF. Timberwolf is an additional cabin included with your rental of Pinecone.

The use of Timberwolf is included with the rental of either Lakeview or Pinecone. Timberwolf provides a modern kitchen facility with large refrigerator, sink, and gas stove. Besides the kitchen, Timberwolf houses the private shower, sauna and laundry facilities. While dining in Timberwolf, you may enjoy a view of the sunset over the lake. (For your privacy, Timberwolf will never be rented to two separate parties.)
